Hiza Afzal is a young poet and writer from India whose work explores emotional isolation, mental health, and the complexities of being human. She began writing at an early age as a way to survive and make sense of intense inner experiences and beliefs. Her poems and stories are often honest and brooding, using simple imagery to express complicated and bewildered emotional states. She is also the author of Life in a Way, a poetry collection.
